I have a whole week off work so I am now trying out the Mathematix Shawl.
Then there was the transition between section 1 and 2. I had to reknit it a few times before i got it right.
And now I have started on the real challenge, the slip stitch pattern. It doesn’t look that hard, but I have started over for the third time now, counted back and forth and placed markers for every 24 stitches as the designer recommend. I should have done this from the start but thought I was way too clever.
I am using 2-ply Snældan Yarn in light and dark brown natural colours and needles size 4 mm. I think I will shop for a longer circular needle today. Always nice to have an excuse to buy new gear.
And here is my little helper jumping into the photo and stealing my yarn. It is easier to knit when he sleeps.
